Ruby Wins National Competition To Secure Funding For Her Future!

A huge congratulations to Ruby Tyree for winning this year’s Future Fund auditions and securing £3,000 towards the cost of her performing arts training at university.  Ruby and ten other Razzamataz students from across the UK took part in the Future Fund auditions judged by a panel of industry experts.

The judges enjoyed every single performance and after much deliberating, decided to offer the winner’s place to Ruby. They said: “Ruby doesn’t know how good she is. She is an endearing and engaging performer in all three disciplines of dance, acting and singing. She came across as genuine and we urge her to believe in herself and her talent.”

Delighted Ruby who is planning on attending Bolton University says: “I’ve been on cloud nine since I found out, it just didn’t feel real. I didn’t feel I deserved it at first so it’s given me such a confidence boost. The funds will be such a great help with my course, thank you so much.”

The Future Fund was set up to provide scholarships for Razzamataz students wishing to take their training to a professional level post 16.

Helen Bell, Principal of Razzamataz Sheffield says: “We are so proud of Ruby and all of the Razzamataz students that took part in the audition. Ruby has a bright future in front of her; she’s an incredible triple threat performer who always gives her absolute everything in class. We are so excited to watch Ruby take her next steps and for her to know that the whole of the Razzamataz community is behind her.”
