Razzamataz Sheffield Awards!

Awards Day Success!

What a fantastic day we had on the last week of term for our end of year award ceremony celebrating student successes. Our Lower School had a disco and our Upper School had a West End workshop.

Student of the Year
We would like to say a huge well done to our Student of the Year Award winner.. Ioan Liley!

This award is dedicated to our Rebecca Rennie who always showed a loyalty and dedication to Razzamataz, she exhibited everything that Razzamataz stands for and it’s a pleasure to honour an outstanding student with this award every year.

“Ioan haș always been a diligent and dedicated student but over the past few years we have really seen him grow as a person and as a performer. He has continuously pushed himself out of his comfort zone which has resulted in him excelling in all of his classes. Most importantly though exhibits all the Razzamataz values in everything he does, he always gives his all to every session and is kind, polite and supportive of his peers throughout. It is an honour to be part of his journey” says Principal, Helen Bell.

Performer of the Year
Our Perfomer of the Year goes to ….. Lucie McGarry!

Lucie has a fantastic work ethic and a huge passion for improving her skills and being the absolute best she can be. She is fearless, driven and dedicated and this year she threw everything she had into her roles as part of our show. She gave a fantastic performance as Scaramouche but equally dedicated herself to all ensemble numbers. She shines on stage and thoroughly deserves this award!

Mini of the Year & Intro to Juniors of the Year
This award is one of the hardest to choose as all of our Mini and Intro to Juniors students work incredibly hard.

This year our Mini of the Year Award went to …..  Sabina Krygier-Roberts. This time last year, Sabina really struggled with her confidence and would get very upset coming in to session – she wanted to come in but found it really difficult to leave her grown ups. The progress we have seen from Sabina has been OUTSTANDING! She now comes happily in to sessions every single week, she feels confident to contribute during class discussions, she no longer needs to bring her teddy in for comfort – it has been an absolute pleasure to see her grow and flourish over the past year.

Our Intro to Junior of the Year Award went to …..  Will Heritage. Will has always been a quiet student but this year he has really come out of his shell and his confidence has grown significantly. Will is always super smiley in class, will always answer questions about technique and always contributes ideas. He’s becoming super creative and all of these combined has lead to an improvement in his technique in all areas.

We also awarded some of our longest standing students who have been part of the family for 5+ years. We are so proud they have chosen to be members of the Razzamataz family for such a long time and feel privileged to have them. Thank you for having fun with us every Saturday and for being such amazing students!

We’re also shouting out to all our award winners who received Best Achievement in either Dance, Drama or Singing.
Not forgetting all our other amazing students who received their Certificates of Achievement, check out our social media for our class photos!
