When young people are given the chance to explore a world beyond their imagination, incredible things can happen. Razzamataz Theatre Schools is taking this belief to new heights with their latest trip to Dubai, where students will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to showcase their performing arts skills in front of a global audience of educators as well as visiting this awe-inspiring city.
Final preparations are being made, rehearsals have been completed and bags are being packed for this exciting trip taking place on Sunday 10th November. This extraordinary experience will allow the students to unleash their limitless potential, inspiring confidence and creativity as they join the Razzamataz Head Office team at GESS Dubai, following an invitation from the UK Trade Mission.
As well as performing, the students will share how participation in performing arts has had a profound effect on their academic education as well as their lives, empowering them to explore their creativity, gain confidence and develop essential life skills that will serve them well in their futures.
The students will be supported by the wider Razzamataz team who have been invited to join the expert panel of speakers at the Leaders in Education Conference, sharing their 25 years’ experience working with young people to foster self-reflection and critical thinking and share what strategies have been successful in the UK. The Conference is focused on how to ‘Combine, Connect and Create’ and Razzamataz embodies this ethos by combining the power of performance and education, connecting young people with opportunities that ignite their passions, and creating an environment where confidence and creativity can thrive on both a local and global scale.
While at GESS, Razzamataz have been invited to speak on ‘The importance of performing arts education in schools today’ and ‘The art of resilience: how performing arts foster emotional and social growth in young people.’
“We are absolutely thrilled to offer our students this amazing opportunity in Dubai,” says Denise Gosney, MD and Founder of Razzamataz. “The performing arts are a powerful vehicle for personal growth, helping young people discover their strengths, build resilience, and develop a sense of belonging. This experience will be truly transformative for them, allowing them to perform on a global stage while also enjoying the many cultural and fun experiences that Dubai has to offer.”
The exciting trip will also take in the very best of Dubai with students visiting some of Dubai’s most famous landmarks including a visit to At The Top Burj Khalifa on the 124th level, exploring the future at the Museum of the Future, providing a platform for learning about cutting-edge technologies, scientific advancements, and emerging trends. They will discover the rich history and heritage of Old Dubai, enjoy a Dhow Cruise at Deira Creek, take a magical visit to the magnificent Dubai Opera House, visit the World’s Largest Suspended Aquarium and take a trip of a lifetime by journeying into the vast desert landscape with the exhilarating desert package, including the thrill of Dune Bashing.
Razzamataz are predominately visiting Dubai as part of their international expansion plans, looking for a single unit or area developer particularly for Dubai & Abu Dhabi to partner with and bring the multi-award winning brand to the UAE and to bring their knowledge and expertise to young people worldwide to give them lifelong skills and unlock their potential. Dubai and the UAE are dynamic, forward-thinking regions that value education, the arts and personal development, an ethos that is aligned with Razzamataz’s ten year vision and beyond.
