How To Support Your Teenager

How to support your teenager

It’s not easy getting teenagers to talk openly about what’s bothering them. To help them navigate these difficult years, at Razzamataz we have dedicated sessions to focus on mental health and wellbeing.

We provide a safe space for young people to express themselves through the performing arts. Through our fun and high quality performing arts training, young people will learn vital life skills including resilience and how to express themselves, both essential for positive mental health and physical fitness.
What your child will enjoy at Razzamataz Sheffield
  • Being physically active
  • Helping to build confidence
  • Learning new performing arts skills
  • Building friendships
  • Self-expression
  • Communication skills
  • Resilience
  • Freedom to be an individual
One of the ways Razzamataz supports their older students is through their Seniors Nights Ins, a social event where they play games, have pizza but also broaden their skills and support positive mental health. This term’s focus was on different personality types and understanding how some people may think and see the world differently to them.
