How to prepare your toddler for their next stages …

Whether your little one is looking to go to nursery or you are starting to think about ‘big’ school, studies have shown this last year has had an impact on children’s development.
Razz Tots has been designed for ages two to three years old. The littles ones discover melody and movement through exciting journeys to the jungle, space, under the sea and much more. The classes have been created to meet the Government’s National Early Years Guidance and includes imaginative play and crafts.
In an Ofsted survey of 208 nurseries, most reported children returning after the spring 2020 lockdown had fallen behind in personal, social and emotional development. But all those working in the Early Years settings agree that there is plenty of time for children to catch up with the right support behind them.

Building routines
Over lockdown, all the usual routines got lost amongst the chaos but it is important for young children to be exposed to a routine for when they start school. At Razz Tots, children will start to understand routine and also, what is expected of them. This will make the transition to nursery or school, much easier for them to grasp. Small things such as where to line up or when the free play starts will give children an understanding of routine and enable them to feel more confident and independent.
Building relationships
At Razz Tots, classes are so much more than just enjoying the magic of performing arts. Little ones will get to build relationships with other children through the exciting sessions. Lockdown has meant that many children have missed out on these vital experiences, so our classes will gently encourage them to start engaging with others, self-regulate and be independent.
What your child will enjoy
  • Being physically active
  • Helping to build confidence
  • Learning new performing arts skills
  • Building friendships
  • Self-expression
  • Forming new family friends

Hear from our parents

“Returning face to face has been a great safe first step for us to get back into social situations. Jessica was very excited, telling family ‘We’re actually going to Razz, like ACTUALLY going there!’ The sessions have been adapted well to ensure they’re compliant but still fun and enjoyable.” Tots parent, Sam.
